Books
Most books I read fit into a few categories: personal growth, faith, creativity, productivity, or photography. Below is a list of books that have been my personal favorites. (updated 1.20.23) To see books I’m currently reading, visit my Good Reads profile.
Walking on Water
Madeleine L’Engle
This book has long been one of my favorite books. I still have the tattered paperback with all my notes and highlights. I first read this book in the late 1990s, and L’Engle put into cohesive words all my thoughts about faith and art. This is a book I return to often.
Ruthless Elimination Of Hurry
John Mark Comer
This is a newer book that helped me shape things that are important to me. To slow down. Highly recommended if you are struggling with balance in life.
Essentialism
Greg McKeown
This is another newer book that helped me shape things that are important to me. What can I get rid of so I can focus on what I want – what is essential.
The Way Of The Warrior
Erwin Raphael McManus
I love all of McManus’ books, but this is my current favorite.
