I wanted to start a new series of weekly inspirations. I find that when I’m stuck or looking for something different to inspire me I like to see what inspires other people. So each week I’m going to post the things that have inspired me.

Fleet Foxes: I’ve loved Fleet Foxes since their 2008 ‘Fleet Foxes’ release.  Great music to work by and relax by. Check out ‘Crack Up’

One of my favorite modern day photographers is Finn Beales. His work is a marvel of story telling. He is the only modern photographer that I’ve bought work from. This Welsh photographer is amazing.

I just started reading this book but so far it’s amazing. I’ve not been feeling the photo love recently. The joy of taking photos has escaped me for awhile. This book is helping me figure out why and how to get it back. David DuChemin is one of the best photo writers out there. I’ve read most of his books. ‘A Beautiful Anarchy’ was one of the best books on creativity I’ve read in a long time. ‘The Soul of the Camera’ is starting out to be just as amazing.
